Claviceps purpurea (Ergot)

Ergot is a shroom growing on rye. It has been a known hallucinogenic for centuries, and is famous for having been used a lot in history, like when it was used for synthesize LSD by Albert Hoffman. Ergot is also responsible for a disease called ergotism, and a strange case occured in the french village of Pont-Saint-Esprit, where a lot of villagers danced for weeks. Principal hypothesis is that they've eaten ergot infected bread, but other implies the CIA and MK-Ultra. Whatever, don't eat ergot infected product, it's not a fun experience to live !

Amanita Muscaria

Amanita muscaria or fly agaric is the most known mushroom in pop culture, thanks to videogame. But it contains muscarine, a alcaloid that sticks on the muscarinic receptors of the brain. Once it has been done, a sedated and hallucinogenic state fills the subject. This mushroom has been used for decades for ritual means in Siberia and is today seen as really poisonous, wich is foul, people tend to misindentify it with other amanitas. The mushroom can be prepared correctly, and even without hallucinogenic effects. Lethal dose is said to be near 15 caps, but seriously do more research if you find one. 🍄

Datura Strammonium is an highly deliriant plant. All the part are poisonous and alcaloids like atropine or scopolamine are everywhere in it. So don't be fooled by its beatiful flowers, it can easily kill you, after making you live your favorite horror games in real life !

Salvia divinorum is a really strange plant. It was only found in two aztec towns, can not reproduce, and we have no idea where it can from. So all the ones findable today are clones from them first plants. It was traditionnaly chewed but today, people smoke it. It's said to create experience that can be felt like years in only five minutes of tripping.
